Why We’re Excited About Providing Our Dumpster Service Throughout South Denver

South Denver is a vibrant mixture of old and new neighborhoods including Hampden and University Hills. It is home to the University of Denver and attracts people from all over the country due to its close proximity to the Rocky Mountains.

Castle Rock is the county seat of Douglas County and has experienced unprecedented growth while retaining its hometown feel. It boasts some of the best shopping on the Front Range. Ranked No. 4 in the county on Money magazine’s list of “Best Places to Live in 2014,” Castle Rock is the birthplace of actress Amy Adams and Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton. Additionally, visitors to Castle Rock can check out The Castle Rock Historical Museum; made from rhyolite stone taken from local quarries, the museum chronicles the growth and expansion of this municipality and its indomitable community spirit.

Cherry Creek is Denver’s premier shopping district and one of the city’s most beautiful neighborhoods. While the Cherry Creek school district is known for being one of the best in the state, the area also plays host to the Cherry Creek Arts Festival and the original Tattered Cover Bookstore. Easily accessible by car, due to the fact that the neighbourhood is bordered by 4 main traffic throughways, Cherry Creek boasts many of South Denver’s most beautiful green spaces in their parks and recreation networks, including: Manley and Pulaski Parks, the Cherry Creek bike path, and the East Seventh Avenue Parkway.

Englewood is an older, yet vibrant town in the Denver area. Easy access to the city centre makes it a desirable neighbourhood for both families and busy professionals alike. With roots tracing back to the year 1858, Englewood is the 23rd most populous city in Colorado. Both missionary David Crockett Graham and civil rights activist Carlotta Walls LaNier have called Englewood home, and it is home to the Swedish Medical Center; a top-ten nationally ranked rehabilitation facility. Additionally, as part of a multi-million dollar improvement plan for Denver’s parks system, Pirate’s Cove water park opened its doors within Englewood’s boundaries; providing endless family fun for Englewood residents and those of surrounding municipalities alike.

Greenwood Village is an oasis of fine homes and schools. Oversized lots and quiet, winding lanes make Greenwood Village one of the nicest residential areas in Denver. Named for the Greenland Ranch in the 1860’s by settlers venturing west for gold, Greenwood Village hosts a satellite campus of the Metropolitan State University of Denver. Located within the Cherry Creek School District, the town of approximately 13, 925 residents plays host to a plethora of media outlets, such as the sports station KKFN and country-focused KYGO-FM.

Highlands Ranch is one of the country’s premier master-planned communities, packed to the hilt with a variety of amenities, including: multiple recreation centers, miles of biking and hiking trails, as well as many lovely parks and shopping destinations. Like much of the present-day metro Denver area, Highlands Ranch was originally to be settled primarily as ranch land in the year 1859, but due to a lack of a water supply, it was not fully settled until 1970. Home to one of the most architecturally unique structures in Colorado, the Highlands Ranch Mansion, the municipality was once home to actress Keri Russell and U.S Olympic luger Courtney Zablocki.

Lone Tree, located between Parker and Highlands Ranch, lies in close proximity to The Denver Tech Center and is home to many corporate epicenters, including the new Charles Schwab campus. According to the United States Census Bureau, Lone Tree boasts an estimated population of 13,545 individuals and has a total area of a modest 9.6 square miles. Colorado State Highway 4-70 bisects this small town, giving it unprecedented access to the surrounding area.

Parker is a growing town located in Northern Douglas County with access to all that Denver has to offer. Numerous family amenities, excellent schools, and a charming Main Street make this small town quite unique. Next to Castle Rock, Parker is the most populous town in Douglas County. The Cherry Creek Trail runs south through Parker, providing an excellent opportunity for residents to engage in outdoor activities such as biking, running, hiking, and cross-country skiing. Notable individuals who have called Parker home at one time or another include actor Scott Elrod and billionaire media magnate John C. Malone.
